time for an overdue post. had trouble penning down my thoughts, partly because of my lethargy for the lack of sleep and perhaps i had not wrap my head around how fast things had progressed.
i remember clearly last year when i took over. It was a surreal moment. 1 year later and its handover once more. and it remains surreal. A few weeks prior to handover I found myself wanting this day not to come. I am not too sure why, but perhaps because I wanted more memories with my excos.
TO GRACE: I think this 1 year we really bonded very well. From handover in '09 to handover in '10 I learnt a lot from you. I must really thank you for being there for me when things got rough. All those random jokes will remain as awesome memories i will take with me even after we graduate. I must also say your temper became much better le la as compared to last year. I think somehow, you kept us grounded on what has to be done and that really helped us move forward as an exco, as a cca. okay la other stuff i put in letter k.
TO: JO-CE-LYN
haha my gp okay de horh. i just enjoy pronouncing your name wrongly. XD anyway you are a damn awesome secretary!! Other the fact that you can be blur sometimes, you have done an awesome job! like contact list and stuff always done on time. really makes the running of PA much smoother.
TO: HUAN GHEE aka FIDO DIDO:
haha okay honestly, last year handover i not too sure what u are like coz yeah nvr really see you before until june camp. anyway i think we really started bonding when we came up with ur nickname, it is awesome right the nick? totally fits you. haha anyway i feel u fulfilled your duties as a CCO awesomely. haha. I know sometimes we got stress you la but i felt that you stepped up and really did well. i think you must also thank PA for helping to make the $60 you pay for KM worthwhile coz you keep checking everyday :P
TO: MARCUS:
yo. stop stressing over rock night le. got us to help you also ma. anyway got to know you better only this year and found out actually you quite crap also -.- thought you were very serious de haiz. lol. anyway good job as treasurer despite all the heavy workload this year i think you coped pretty well, from the shirts to the collar pins to rock night. you have handled it very well and not to forget we had a surplus of $100++ i think. not bad le. XD
TO: DONG LUM aka AH DONG:
yo dong. stop calling me by that nick -.- anw lol i must say you are one of the more vocal excos we have and i am grateful for that. coz from what i observed better ideas were bounced around and that really helped the cca move forward. and i believe you did a good job with the training because a lot of them really could do the basics and they learnt quite fast. so it means good teaching + good learning. so yeah great job!
TO: E YANG aka TANEMON:
from last year handover to now, i know we had a few conflicts but i hoped they are resolved now. okay la. you did a good job as a QM at least our equipment are all still there. HAHA. anw sometimes i look to you for advice because i am not too sure about the next move myself. and that i felt really helped me with my job. so yeah thanks!
TO HONOURARY MEMBERS:
i shall thank you all once again! seriously, without you guys the excos would really have a hard time during our term. when i saw that many of you guys were still so commited to the cca, i was really grateful. i mean like, i was wow! especially during march camp when the councillors willingly loaned their SL to us due to the stupid construction ppl -.- anyway ya THANK YOU VERY MUCH
TO: 10/11 EXCO
gratz on becoming exco. It was quite an epic battle but i believe we achieved a combination that is most balanced. lol. i remember tty telling me the same thing last year. so work hard and really bond together. and err i think you all might have to help ur pres a bit... he super blur -.- so yeah jiayous! i am entrusting mysmallandcosyfamily to you guys already.
yeah that is about it. super long -.- and i really feel nostalgic about this whole handover. i will really miss doing events. :( and to my batch STAY IN CONTACT HORH! yeah so i will miss you all.......
