wah, so dead...
i shall talk about 'NeVeR' (: cos i think its a very impt event for me (:
okayy, never crew:
ME the noob-recorder, IVAN the slacker, EUGENE the pro lightsman, and ZHIPING the unmuter.. plus ELAINE the slacker too, MINGXUAN the soundchecker, and CASSANDRA the freefooder, oh and RAYCHUAN the paytowatch..haha.. okay, and i want to say GOOD JOB to all the crews (: theres no *mistakes* except for my lousy recording skills :P but nvm la, the owner of the recorder dont even know how to record :P
but what i really wanna say is that, doing this event is VERY FUN! SUPER FUN! hahaa, i got the feeling of the FUN when we learn to do events under our seniors.. as this event very slack one, no need backstage, everybody was in control.. except mingxuan who is outside.. what can i say is that the people in control are very alert.. hmm, lights on ontime, mics on ontime, and recording on ontime (: with ONLY two pieces destroyed :P and while being able to be alert all the times we are also having fun, infact alot of FUNS in the control at that time (: haha.. aft onning lights, press record, and mute mics, we all will crowd around and tell jokes (: most or them, of course, coming from eugene, ivan, and zhiping, are lame and cooolllddd jokes (: hahaa, but still it was so fun! haha.. i got the LAST YEAR feeling (: that doing event is SOOO FUN (: althought aft we takeover our seniors, its still fun for me, but aft doing this event, it seems like a different kind of FUN! (:
maybe.. maybe for the sake of result, we have sacrificed the fun we had.. maybe, maybe the way we are now are just too strict for people to have much fun in PA.. maybe, maybe for the cause of perfection, we have forgotten how fun can it be while we are doing events.. the PA now, maybe is different from the PA under our seniors last year.. we, during events, or even not during events, strive for perfection.. and the result of it, maybe, the loss of the fun we've had.. maybe, whats important for us now its only the final result of what we do.. thinking of it now, i think its not right.. yes, whats most improtant is the final result, but the road we choose to the final result is as important as the result..
i dont deny the fact that some event really need full attention, full alert. some concert, really need our eyes to be on the stage, anticipating any problem that may happen and deal with it perfectly. Some event, may be slacker, like this piano event, only when the people stop playing the piano, then we give our full attention to them, and aft they started the next piece, we can do whatever we can to have fun.. different concerts need different kind of attention, and we must give the maximum attention that they needed.. but in the other hand, have as much fun as you can..
oh, and if i ever give any sign that u cant have fun when u are doing event, im sorry.. have all the fun you can, but give us the best result that can happen (: PA is not all about serious work, and also not all about fun.. we have both working together (:
