PA EXCO Application Registration
Yo everone! Take note that
tomorrow (30th Apiril) is the deadline for all submission PA EXCO application forms. There will be no extension of the deadline. So all who have yet to
submit the forms please do so
before tomorrow CAAL period (3.10pm). Haha those who are still considering whether to run or not, my advice is just go for it! Forms are still available at the hall control if you have not taken a copy yet. Thanks.
By the way, all graduated seniors please read the post before this post by Dhika about the PA jackets! So sorry for pushing th post down just 1 day after it is posted!

TO THE SENIORS:im terribly sorry because of this but apparently, elaine has gone for an overseas trip till next week and unfortunately she cant use her singapore line there. so if you have messaged elaine about the jacket order (after last saturday), most probably she never received it.
so, to make it easier for the seniors, just
TAG your order at the tagboard, which include the size and the name you want to put on the jacket. another way of doing this is by contacting me @ 96656617. there is no change in payment method.
once again, sorry for the trouble! please inform your other crewmates who wants to order the jacket too! thanks.

This is an Official Announcement
- On 28th April 2008, the QM will be clearing control under orders from the school because of college day.
- As such, any items or stuff that do not have a place in control will be indiscriminately thrown out of control at the period of time when the QM is cleaning it.
- All members are strongly advised to clear control of all stuff that belongs to them to ensure that none of the items are lost.
- Also, please refrain from leaving any items in control on the date specified above unless explicit permission has been sought from the QM.
- Any items that remain unclaimed will be thrown out of control.

STAGE 3: ORDERING + PAYMENT (23 april 2008 - 2 may 2008)it seems like the vote is stagnant already, so HERE WE ARE! at the most important stage of all, ORDER + PAYMENT! read carefully for detailed instructions!
to confirm first, based on the final vote, the jacket will be with ZIP, and it will cost S$38.00. (for the final design, refer to previous posts) im really assuming that the order can hit 35 (most probably) if not, im sorry that we need to increase price abit.
SO, HERE IS THE DETAILED INSTRUCTION.Order and payment will be made differently for different batches, so listen up.
IP1/2/3 and JC 1/2both ordering and payment will be made THROUGH YOUR EACH DAY IC's! if you dont know which day are you allocated to, then go to MELLISA (the treasurer). basically, what you need to tell/sms/call them is:
your name, your jacket size, the name you want to put on the jacket. arrange payment with each day IC.
THE SENIORS (or what we shall call PAa=PAalumni)
Ordering for 04/05 batch will be made through
SAMUEL (04/05 QM) and for 06/07, 05/06, 03/04 and older, will be made through
ELAINE (06/07 CCO). what you need to do is:
1. sms them:
your name, your jacket size, the name on the jacket.2. HOWEVER, for seniors, PAYMENT WILL BE MADE BY
BANK TRANSFER! please transfer
$38 (with name) or
$35 (without name) to POSB savings account

3. THEN, sms ur respective IC (elaine or samuel) your
TRANSACTION DATE, and
TRANSACTION REF NO.

Today we went to the jacket places, and we have everything already, from prices to sizes of jacket. to let you know, everything went well, but theres 2 things unsettled. so, im sorry for the trouble, but you need to vote one more time. please only
vote once. dont spam.1. The jacket, with zip or without zip.(rationale behind this is because we cant really agree on which, i think zip will be more convenient, but elaine thinks it looks nicer without zip. and also, theres quite a significant difference in price. so, forget dictatorship, lets have a democracy) (price based on orders > 35 people)
2. Color of the PA logo, and name infront.(yes, the jacket can be personalised with an additional of $3 (included in the price above). those who dont want can pay less by $3.) IF there is no vote, we will continue with the original white color.

STAGE 2 1/2: last confirmation. (20 APRIL 2008)due to the few last minute changes of votes, (
and removal of rigged votes), the final design actually shifted to design 8 (for the back), with only 1 vote lead from design 1. this is the final design.

08/09 EXCO Application(Now open)Sorry for pushing down all the hoodie posts but we got something more important.That is, EXCO application is now opened!!!Those who are interested in running for the 08/09 EXCO can get the application forms from any of the EXCO at the hall control.The posts that are up for grabs are as follow:
President(Head of PA, always on the chopping board)
Vice President( Future I/C of bonding activities and assist the president if the head gets chopped, find me for more details on how to glue back the head lol)
Secretary(Admin, red tape ,you name it....If you like to push paper(and mug), go find Yu Xuan)
Quartermaster(Repairing Cables to Cleaning control, Zhi Ping is the man)
Training Officer(Training the future generation and a friend, a noble role indeed.)
Treasurer($$, sweeping the control is an extra responsibility)
Concert Coordinating Officer(SMS and more SMS, better have 2000 free SMS plan)

STAGE 2: Design Vote (13-1619 april 2008)we kick start stage 2 early, and a one day transition from stage one for further editing of design. and right now we have several designs (or maybe fonts and layouts) for the jacket. stage 1 is still open till 13 april, 23:59pm!

1. Remember that more colours and designs may mean higher price
2. Whether or not to include motto(s), as every batches have different mottos.

oopsie, i push 2 posts down xD
hehe, but this time im posting important stuff! (: so, here goes.
We are planning to make a PA jacket for our crew! Yes, so first thing first, of course its going to be a black jacket, black plain hoodie and we can customize it.
it will be something like this but dont worry it wont be exactly like this. im thinking of using the current "CREW" font on your PA t-shirt to put behind the jacket. overall it must be plain, simple so that it can be used for events.
So, if you have any ideas/suggestion or even NEW designs for the jacket, feel free to create something new (:the price will be around $40. thats not bad for jacket price right (: the material is cotton/polyester. its not NJC jacket material, its like usual pullover jacket material. and the size range from S to 4XL. and by the way for 3XL and 4XL the price will be around $50 xD haha..
more details may be coming up soon, for interested people, after the detailed instruction of ordering, payment, and collection is made, then you can start to order (: for now, just tag if ure interested to buy (;
i strongly suggest everyone to get the jacket, then our family will have something common to wear together (:

Unfortunately I will be pushing down the happy birthday post from Hsianwei, but no problem. This post should be quite fun ^^
So, Samuel and I decided that we should go and take a look at the archery venue at Zheng Hua CC because we are hearing quite contradictory instructions from the crew that went there last year:
(A and B are random people, I kinda forget who they are actually)
A: I remember we brought two liberties there and that's that for the entire event
B: Oh, we set up a full DAS system to project the volume. Do you know the area is SOOOOO BIGGGGG?!
So anyway, that obviously warrants a trip for Samuel and I to go down and take a look.
Samuel knows the area better then me so he was the one leading the way. We left Plaza Singapura after a short lunch (which only had 8 people, anyway...)and then we took LRT to get to Fajar station which Samuel reckons is the closest station to the desired spot we should go to.
The archery range should be near the CC, and lets just say that someone decided that it should rain right at that moment. We were trapped at the LRT station (and it reminded me how badly LRT stations are designed, imagine a covered walkway on the OPPOSITE side of the entrance of the STATION?!!?). So anyway, we decided to make a mad dash for the CC and we had to go through the rain....
And what do you know, when we reach the CC, the guy there told us:
"Oh, the archery range right, is at this Segar station which is just one station down Fajar station...
Someone please tell me that I got wet for an appropriate reason? =P
