HIHIHI i am finally a junior again. a junior member of NJ PAA :D the club that i've wanted to join ever since the 06/07 batch graduated.
I've stepped down and am no longer the president anymore. Honestly, i feel relieved. I will still miss the times working together with everyone of you. But, it's time i leave and pass on this job to the juniors. One year is just enough (:
I remember the times when i was young and small in ip1, when i was amazed by how PA is of such high importance in the school, how passionate my seniors were, and how small and cosy this family is. I wanted to play a part, i wanted to contribute. So i said, "I'm going to be the pro-est cable coiler at the end of my 4 years!"
But PA was not all about coiling cables and having fun. PA is about service. This is something i truly understood only in my 3rd year. OK i kept harping on this ~
PA is what accompanied me through my 4 tough years in NJ. I can't imagine how life in NJ would have been if mel and i were not gay and joined PA for lame reasons. Throughout the 3.5 years, I've seen many batches come and go, i've met many different kinds of people, whether i liked or not. But all of us were here for the common goal of serving the school and because we love this family, we want to contribute in some way.
I may not have joined for the right reason, but over the years, i've been inspired, i've loved, i've hated, i've endured and i've grown.
SO, TO MY EXCOS 0809: I would have died in PA without anyone of you. As i've always believed, everyone single member in the EXCO is equally important. I really respect all of you. We've been through so much together although it's just one year. All the problems we've encountered, all the fun we had, and all the memories we've forged. Although there might have been differences and unhappiness along the way, one thing i'm definitely sure of, is the passion and love we all have for PA. All of us want the best for PA. We came from different paths, met in PA, and now we're going our separate ways. But i'm sure everyone of you will remember the times we had in PA and how much we have grown over this one year. I hope this is just a start and you will go on to achieve much more in life. I'm sure even many years later, you will not forget the times in PA and you will remember how it has made you who you are.
TO THE GRADUATING BATCH: MUG HARD!!!!!!! we've all contributed to PA equally and i love all of you because the EXCO would have died without you! I am grateful that PA has people, who have stayed so passionate throughout. Not driven by responsibilities or duties, but by the passion and love for the family. Because of you, PA was able to survive and i will never forget how important you were to us!
TO SAMU: You are the most passionate member i've seen and i really respect you. Coming personally to train our EXCO when we blurly started, visiting us all the time and helping us solve the most difficult problems, being the earliest everyday for the interviews and everything. Just being there for us, for PA. I guess this is the true spirit of servant leadership. To serve without any obligations or returns. THANK YOU SAMU! we really appreciate it!
TO ALL MY SENIORS 05060708, I AM FINALLY GONE. Thanks to all your guidance, i've grown. I've done my part for PA, just like everyone of you. Thanks for teaching me what it is like to love a family and making me who am i today. It would have never been so great without you.
AND FINALLY TO THE JUNIORS 0910: Word hard! work really really hard! use your passion as a force to push yourself forward. I know you will be great! It's going to be tough but i know you will be fine! And to those who didn't get selected, don't take it to heard ok x.x there are only 7 places in the EXCO! it's not that you are not capable or whatever. It's just that we have no space!!! And i'm sure everyone can contribute to this family equally, as long as you have the passion!
There are just so many people I need to thank, during this 4 years. But i can't possibly write it all down. So THANKYOU everyone! who've been with me through this period, helping me, pulling me, pushing me etcetc.
And i'm not sad i've left the cca. Because i know i am always part of this small and cosy family ~

Heyhey, as requested, camp/chalet details are as follow:
10th : Training + mock eventS in school ^^ 11th : Meet at harbourfront MRT @ 11 am (latecomers will be taupoked and dunked) to eat lunch. Check in at the kampong hut (quite run down FYI) at 2.30pm. After that will... Heheheh... 12th : We will leave Sentosa for school at 12pm. Go back got some things to do ^^ Around 3+ then is handover at LT!!!
